We all need goals.

Much like Michael Phelps, I have some records to break.

I've had the opportunity to visit a lot of different countries in the past ten years. But never could I claim to have slept in three countries on one night.

Until now.

That's right. On one Thursday night/Friday morning I slumbered my way through Italy, Switzerland, and France via an international night train.

I know, I know. Amazing.

Amazing enough to be mentioned in the same breath as the most winningest athlete in the history of the Olympics? (Most winningest? They're running out of superlatives for this guy!)

You be the judge.

Nevermind. I'll be the judge.

And yes. Amazing enough.

I just let the train do all the work. That's my secret.

I just wish you could have seen the proud, yet tearful look on my face as I watched you (in my mind's eye) sleep across all those countries. You just never gave up your dreams!

If newspaper clippings of this don't go into your baby book, I will be very, very surprised.

This is Lori, an Alaska friend of Jannell's, and I came to your blog to enjoy more shots of her/your/youall's trip than she has yet posted. I'm not judging her. Just enjoying your blog, wonderful pics, and public displays of masterful art desecration.

Take care!
